Geomatics Technician
Position Overview:
The Geomatics Technician supports various geospatial and surveying projects by operating sophisticated surveying instruments and processing survey data. The technician works under the guidance of the Survey Party Chief and Project Manager to achieve high-quality survey results.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain geomatics instruments and equipment.

Assist in the collection and analysis of geospatial data.

Process and manage data to produce maps, plans, and reports.

Support field crews with technical issues and data management.

Ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology or a related field.

Experience with geospatial software and surveying instruments.

Good technical and mathematical abilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
